Same old song and dance indeed Gerry!
You haven’t changed a bit!
Same old blurry crystal ball is more like it.

If I had any gift for writing it would sound much like your predictions. I just hope that the Conservatives can attract some real cabinet material because some that are there now are all we have to work with. We need to promote people like Lois Brown of Newmarket Aurora.

More than that I would say that the Harper Government has frozen out the main stream media to such a point that they cannot send out trial balloons on strategy for change. The MP's just blurt out the suggestions and hope that the antagonistic pundits will accept such unfiltered statements.

It is time that the Conservatives managed to keep their feet out of their mouths. General public opinion still matters. Harper's cronies should follow his own example by keeping their random thoughts to themselves.

Besides when a suggested policy is proposed it would be best to prepare for those obvious objections of which even I would be ready.

Pound on the fact that Europeans are abandoning these census stats altogether, and add that in comparison we are just removing the jail provisions for non compliance.

Rather than jailing non compliant census filers we need to incarcerate serious criminal offenders. It is absolute nonsense that crime is going down. Maybe in the short term but definitely not since 1962 when these stats started being collected. That is the date which ought to be the bottom line.

@ Blame Crash: A fuzzy or non-fuzzy crystal ball is not needed to see that Gerry is 98% correct, although I that he was unfair to the Real Housewives of Orange County. Also, hopefully, we can get rid of this horrible Con government.
@ Hoarfrost: the only 'serious' crimes the cons are interested in are gambling, pot, and other vices they don't like and think people should go to jail for. Why aren't we hearing more about this from you Gerry? When are you going to enter politics?

Right now I am concentrating more on American politics.

Why?

Gerry Nicholls said...

Because I am currently working as a consultant in an American campaign.
